More than 1 Billion women around the world are currently in menopause. Until recently, it wasn't really spoken about but many brilliant organisations are changing that.
World Menopause Day is observed on October 18th every year to raise awareness and break down the stigma around menopause. The International Menopause Society has been the initiator of this important event since 2009.
This organisation, and other initiatives around the world, are doing a brilliant job of making Menopause visible. So many women are impacted and, until recently, it wasn't really talked about.
